CAT tools
KIRK’s main Computer-Aided Translation (CAT) Tools are Memsource, Memoq and Across. KIRK operates server versions of Memsource, MemoQ and Across, which work in full automation with its Project Management system, Plunet.
Furthermore KIRK was awarded an Across v6 certificate after having successfully completed the training on Project Management, Terminology, System Administration and Translation modules of Across at the Germany Headquarters of Across Systems GmbH in April 2015.
Apart from that, KIRK works with almost every CAT Tool such as SDL Trados, Star Transit, Passolo and etc. KIRK always adapts to new CAT Tools as they are released.

KIRK manages its projects through Plunet which is the central platform in planning, management and controlling of its production and business processes. KIRK has adapted the system to its needs and workflows in a way to allow attaining a high degree of automation and flexibility. Thanks to the system KIRK has an excellent command on quote, order, invoice and workflow management.

Terminology management is the key in providing consistent translation. KIRK’s main CAT Tool Memsource is equipped with a powerful terminology management system. KIRK creates terminology lists for its projects and load them into the CAT system in order to allow its translators to maintain consistency throughout the entire project. Thus KIRK provides the required quality and consistency.
